All four of my kids went to Dr. Mizell. He is excellent! Each of my children had different dental issues, some more severe than others. All of them ended up with beautiful smiles thanks to him & his attentive staff.

Dr Mizell was highly recommended by our son’s dentist and he helped us fix problems with some permanent teeth coming in the wrong way. Collaborating with an oral surgeon in the nextdoor office, the problem was completely corrected. Dr Mizell and his staff made the two year process after seamless and relatively easy. The teenager’s teeth are looking great with no issues.

I had my first appt and everyone was so nice. Dr. Mizell explained everything and gave me choices between traditional braces or Invisalign explaining the advantages of both. This was my first visit and consultation and I will get my braces installed in 4 days. I should only have to wear for a year and then will get my retainer. I am excited about realigning my teeth. I feel that Dr. Mizell was a great choice even though they are 6 miles from my home and there were several others closer I am comfortable in my decision and happy.

It was an awesome experience! He did a wonderful job and the staff were always friendly. He was well educated in his orthodontics and I would highly recommend him. The staff was always organized and the appointments were very brief.

Not only has our orthodontic experience been top notch, but Dr Mizell’s patient experience is as well. We needed a bracket fixed and they were able to work us in on a Friday. The little touches (knowing what bothers my son and minimizing the time doing those things) really make me feel like my son is seen and heard and treated like an individual, not just “one size fits all” approach to medicine. Would wholeheartedly recommend!

Dr. Mizell is *the* orthodontist in Houston. When we were shopping for an ortho, his name came up repeatedly. He's experienced, authoritative, excellent at his craft, up to date on new tech, and everyone loves him. He's went above and beyond for us, as he does for all. This was my first visit and I was pleasantly pleased at how accommodating and courteous the staff was. Mitzy client services skills was so personable that she made me feel like family or a celebrity. I had braces as a teen but over the years my teeth shifted after not wearing a retainer. My dentist Dr. Gayle referred me to Dr. Mizell and they made an excellent team! We achieved my dream smile in about 6 short months. It was painless and I just wish I had done it sooner! Dr. Mizell’s front office staff is super on top of it and always very helpful.

Amazing experience and amazing outcome. Highly recommended! Dr. Mizell did a great job with all 3 of my daughters. We switch ortho for convenience in the middle of the process and that was a big mistake! My daughters teeth started shifting very quickly with the new orthodontist, so obviously we came right back to Dr. Mizell, and got back on track. Again, highly recommend Dr. Mizell!!

Deciding to get braces as an adult is a hard decision! Decided to have them on when my teenage daughter got hers. I had jaw pain and he fixed my bite as well as straightened and aligned my teeth. He is “that” orthodontist! Recommended by two different dentists 50 miles apart. The staff are kind and most efficient! My only regret is why I waited.

My 13 year old has been going for the past year and her teeth have improved dramatically. We saw improvement from the first visit. She always walks out happy when she goes. I must add that i took her two years before and he said it was not time for her to get anything done yet, even though her dentist had suggested she did. That proves to me that Dr. Mizell is a real professional and won’t do the work and charge money when it’s not needed.
